At least 42 anti-ICE protesters were arrested Saturday after chaos ensued outside the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis following a memorial service for Minneapolis residents Renee Good and Alex Pretti, who were fatally shot by federal agents last month.

Footage showed dozens of arrests as agitators shouted insults at state patrol officers, tore up yellow police tape and threw obscene objects at law enforcement.

KSTP, Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office says at least 42 people arrested reported.

The chaos followed a memorial service for Good and Pretti at Powderhorn Park, about a 15-minute drive from the federal building, exactly one month after the date of Good’s death.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey claimed in a social media post that the group was “spreading love.”

“Thousands of people came to remember and honor Renee Good and Alex Pretti,” Frey wrote. “Minneapolis is with you and we will continue to spread the love.”
