Showing his true colours? What Union Jack dress row family REALLY think of stepfather who thrust girl into spotlight and triggered political storm

The family of the 12 -year -old girl, who is banned from wearing a unity of the ‘Culture Day’, is angry with her stepfather’s decision to push him into the national spotlight.
Seven years of student Courtney Wright prevented the Bilton school in the Rugby in Warwickshire from wearing a flag dress and the resulting order dominated the national media speech and even discussed in parliament.
Now, Mailonline can reveal that the explosive nature of the row on Courtney’s outfit has the consequences in the wider family, and many of them were painful in the decision to expose the child to such an intense examination.
His anger is aiming at Stuart Field, 47, the 47 -year -old stepfather of Courtney, and seems to raise this decision to the national media.
A close relative told us that they believe that Mr. Field was motivated by his right -wing political views.
They told us: ‘Stuart, immigration and small boats and things like these things politically very angry.
“ A little right -wing culture is a warrior type and I think he saw the opportunity to start a line here.
“ I do not only think that it is a very good parent to include your stepfather. Courtney should now be in the eyes of the storm and not to be subjected to all this attention. ‘

A poster advertising of the school’s Culture Day asked students to recognize and celebrate the rich cultural diversity in our school community.
Another source in the family told us: ‘Stuart upset many people in his family with the enthusiasm of putting Courtney in front of the cameras.
And his motivation seems to be about satisfying his own sense of anger towards school.
‘Courtney is a plain and smart girl for her age, but it is still very young and it must be crazy for a few days for her and it will be absolutely sad so far.’
Indeed, Courtney said how surprising his sudden fame during one of the media views at the beginning of this week.
“ “ Since, many people come to me “Are you in the news?” Explained. “ People told me that I am in all applications when they opened them. I made my friends say, “Oh my God, Courtney”.
Another family member told us today: ‘Stuart has their own complaints and I think those who motivated him this week.
‘Our entire family was subjected to intense examination because we were placed in the eyes of the people – all our social media output was cleared for any suggestion that we had very accurate views or that there was something more ominous than a line on a back hallwell dress.
“ It has been a terrible week for all of us, and we are definitely tired of attention, so God knows how Courtney has ever felt.

‘I wish he had never made so much pipes about it, and none of them had never.’
Apparently, even Mr. Field began to adopt a low -key approach – the partners say that he went to the ground ‘and no longer respond to calls from most friends.
Mr. Field, a sea restoration employee with three children between the ages of 25, 20 and 14 with his ex -wife, took care of Courtney when he started a relationship with his 36 mother Katie Wright. 18 months ago, he married 23 years before divorce.
Another long -term partner of the old fish and chipset worker: ‘For anyone who knows him, Stuart’s idea as a kind of moral figure for justice is quite funny.’
As they turned out to have escaped from the effects of the unexpected exposure of the Bilton school on national interest – the staff announced that the personnel had been closed early for summer holidays after the threat and ‘pro -excessive abuse’.
The school in the Rugby in Warwickshire said it is ‘closed for student and personnel safety’.

Courtney was stopped by a staff at the gates of the school and ordered to change after choosing throughout the day.
Mr. Field said he was ‘Gobsmacked’ to find out that his stepdaughter left his peers because of his choice of clothes.
The row, with three more children from a previous relationship, was published online when Courtney was told how to stop and change at the doors.
Mr. Field, who is currently working as a shipping engineer, said: ‘Courtney was very embarrassed and could not understand what he was doing wrong.
“ Should not feel ashamed to be British. And it should not be punished for celebrating British culture and history; Nobody else I talk about can take their heads around. ‘
Another with the flag of St George and another with another gal flag was not allowed. It’s ridiculous. It seemed like something that was not allowed to the British from afar.
‘The day was to celebrate everyone’s culture, and Courtney chose this flag flag dress, so he was able to celebrate it.

Mr. Field (depicted with Courtney) said his daughter was ‘Gobsmacked’ to find out that her daughter had left her peers because of her choice of clothes.
“ He wrote this speech with him and was very proud of what he did.
‘The next thing I got a call to say that around 9 o’clock that it was not allowed and unacceptable.’
He added: ‘I could not get away from work until about noon. They sat him at the reception all morning in front of the receptionists and held him alone.
“ He is a flat student, one of the brightest of the year and has never been in trouble before, so he was really upset.
“ All the children in my eyes, the British, I think I am a tolerant person, but that was not true.
“ I wanted an answer to what they thought it was acceptable – and no one could give me a flat answer, I wanted to know how they justified it.
“ I talked to the president of the year and said he wasn’t the best person to talk about it, so I can assume that he doesn’t really agree with him.
“ Obviously came over him, but I’m not sure who made the decision.

“ I said I was going to buy a phone and I took Courtney directly for a nice dinner to cheer on him.

A spokesman for Stowe Valley Trust later said: ‘We are proud of the diversity of our students and the rich heritage they brought to our community. We are determined to develop an environment where each student is respected, valued and involved.
‘On Friday, July 11, on the Culture Celebration Day, an event that was greatly upset by one of our students, our family and the members of the wider community occurred. We deeply regret the boredom caused by this and offer our sincere and unprotected disabilities.
“ Since then, we talked directly to the student and his family to listen to his worries and think about how this could be handled better. We are determined to learn from this experience and to ensure that every student is known and supported while proud of his inheritance.
‘As a school, we strengthen our policies and personnel training to ensure that our practices reflect our values of understanding, respect and understanding for everyone.’
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer seemed to support Courtney’s dress selection after saying that the spokesman was always ‘clear that being a British is to be celebrated’.
