Madonna, 67, hijacks Sabrina Carpenter’s Coachella headlining set in racy purple lingerie as the duo perform her most iconic hits to Gen Z crowd
Madonna made her return to Coachella on Friday, making a surprise appearance during Sabrina Carpenter’s headline set.
The 67-year-old singer, who is preparing for the release of her highly anticipated Confessions II comeback album, joined the Espresso hitmaker on stage towards the end of her set, causing the audience to burst into enthusiastic cheers.
This marks 20 years since Madonna performed her own headliner at the music festival in 2006.
The duo belted out the lyrics to some of Madonna’s hits, including Vogue and Like A Prayer, as the crowd enthusiastically sang along.
The iconic singer, also known as the Queen of Pop, wowed in a revealing purple corset and matching bottoms as she strutted on stage.
She was also wearing a pair of elbow-length lavender gloves and knee-high heeled boots.

The camera then turned to color as the musical artists sang the lyrics of what appeared to be a new and upbeat track.
The duo then moved to another part of the stage, standing in the middle of the audience.

The singer said at the time that it was “very exciting” and added that returning to the Coachella stage was “exciting.”
‘This is a full circle moment, you know?’ he added. ‘It means a lot to me.’
During her short speech, Madonna encouraged the audience to ‘get along with each other’.
‘Let’s try to be together. Let’s try to avoid disagreements. And at this point, the best thing about music is that it brings people together.
‘This is the one place where people put their differences aside, drop their shit, and everyone just has a good time together, right? I’m so excited to be a part of this healing experience…’
