Born on 4 July 1942, Prince Michael is the third child of Prince Michael, the fourth son of Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark and George, Duke of Kent. King George V and Queen Mary.

Although Prince Michael does not perform official royal duties on behalf of the monarch, he supports numerous charities and organizations.
