Bandi Says BRS Propaganda Targeting Him
He also alleged that BRS working president KT Rama Rao was running a “fake media factory” to spread misinformation about him.
Speaking to media persons at the state BJP office, Bandi Sanjay denied allegations that he misused his position to delay the arrest of his son Bandi Bhagirath. He said that the matter is at the judicial stage and is within the jurisdiction of the courts.
“Has there ever been a situation where a father voluntarily handed over his son to the police? When the police wanted to investigate, I personally handed over my son for questioning,” he said.
Dismissing rumors of launching a new political party, he said there was no need to respond to baseless claims. “We have trained a large number of party workers through BJP training camps. A dedicated BJP worker would only want the saffron flag to be hoisted over his dead body,” he said.
Criticizing speculations about his removal as Union minister, he said the decision appeared to be “taken by KCR and his son”.
Denying the news of a possible arrest, Bandi Sanjay said that these rumors were spread by some television channels on the orders of KTR. He claimed that such developments were due to political vendetta following the loss of power of the BRS.
“Didn’t we end the ten-year rule of BRS? They cannot accept the loss of power, that is why such attempts are being made,” he said.
