Bill Belichick sued over painter’s alleged fall and injury at Nantucket home

North Carolina Tar Heels football coach Bill Belichick was sued Thursday over an incident that allegedly occurred at his home in Massachusetts in June 2024.

Painter Andrew Jackson filed a lawsuit in Nantucket Superior Court against Forty Five Fair Street LLC, a company run by Belichick. Jackson said in his lawsuit that “construction practices created an unsafe work area for workers at the facility,” which is why he suffered injuries after the fall.

“As a direct and proximate result of the fall, plaintiff suffered serious bodily injuries, including a severe right ankle injury, along with pain, disability, medical expenses, lost wages, and other consequential damages,” the lawsuit states. was expressed.

The filing also noted that Jackson received workers’ compensation benefits after the fall but “reserves the right to pursue this third-party negligence lawsuit against any responsible party who is not an employer.”

The lawsuit stated that Belichick’s company had to make sure the construction site was in safe working conditions.

Jackson is asking around $300,000 Nantucket Current, the person who first reported the case.
