Black Clover Season 2 Will Be Released From October 2026
Following its debut at Anime Expo, the anime is scheduled to begin regular broadcast on TV Tokyo and affiliated networks in October 2026. Streaming platform Crunchyroll will also stream the new season for international audiences.
The next season is produced by Studio Pierrot, the studio behind the original anime adaptation. Ayataka Tanemura has been confirmed to be the director, while Keiichiro Ochi will serve as the composer of the series. Character designer Itsuko Takeda and sub-character designer Kumiko Tokunaga are also returning for the sequel.

After the television series ended, the franchise expanded with the film Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, which premiered on Netflix in 2023. It is noteworthy that the film is also directed by Ayataka Tanemura, who will be responsible for the upcoming second season. The Black Clover manga began serialization under Shueisha in 2015 and has published 37 volumes as of 2025.
