Boy, 15, charged with murder after man dies in Ewell alleyway

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murder following the death of a man in an alley near a bar in Surrey.

Police were called to the scene near the Wheatsheaf pub in Kingston Road, Ewell, at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, where they said the victim, a man in his 20s, was found “with injuries consistent with a stabbing”. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested on Thursday and will appear at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

A second 15-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man who were also arrested were also released on police bail.
