Boy drowns while swimming in canal near Bhalki

A 14-year-old boy drowned while swimming in the canal near Joldapka village in Bhalki taluk of Bidar district on Sunday.

It was stated that the deceased was Shoaib.

According to sources, Shoaib died when he accidentally slipped and fell into deep water while he was going for swimming in the Karanja canal near the village with his friends.

Dhannur Police Station personnel arrived at the scene and conducted investigations.

A case was registered. The investigation continues.
