Bus ploughs into window of Notting Hill home

A bus crashed into the windshield of a house in Notting Hill, London.

Emergency services were called to the house on St Quintin Avenue, West London, at around 7.15pm on Thursday, where both cars were damaged in the collision.

The Route 70 bus appears to have mounted the curb and crashed into the front of the property, damaging the stairs and knocking out windows.

Transport for London (TfL) said one person suffered “minor injuries” but no one at the scene required treatment.

A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: “Fire crews were called to a traffic accident on Quintin Avenue in Notting Hill yesterday.
