Case Registered After Obscene Act Reported on Narsingi Track

Hyderabad: Narsingi police registered a case following a complaint from a woman who alleged that an unidentified man was behaving obscenely on the Narsingi cycle path. According to the police, the incident took place in the early hours of the morning, when the victim was doing a morning jog near the HPS-852 Pole. It was alleged that the defendant exposed himself and behaved inappropriately in a public place to disturb the victim.
Realizing that the woman was recording him with her mobile phone, the suspect fled the scene. The complainant stated that the incident caused him psychological trauma and applied to the police and asked for action to be taken against the unidentified person.
Cyberabad commissioner Dr M Ramesh said: “When we found the video, we started searching for the accused. The victim later approached the police.” An official told about the incident Deccan Chronicle He said two teams were working on the incident and verified the CCTV footage.
The teams could not find any security cameras covering the area. The team then came up with the idea of analyzing cameras on the approach path. The official said that efforts are continuing to identify and capture the suspect.
The incident gained insight after the video was posted on social media questioning concerns about the safety of women in isolated public spaces, especially in the early hours of the morning.
