Case registered against ‘Kodi’ Suni for public drinking while in police custody

Talasseri police, TP Chandrasekharan ‘Kodi’ in the murder case against the ‘Kodi’ artificial and allegedly consumed alcohol in the public while being taken to court. Muhammad Shafi and Shinoj, who were accused of jointly, were also reserved.

The incident occurred on July 17 when ‘Kodi’ Sun and others were brought to the Talasserine Additional Court in connection with the murder of RSS activists Vijith (28) and Shinoj (29). The defendant allegedly drank alcohol in a hotel parking area at Thasery.

Previously, the Thasseri police claimed that no complaints were received and that there was no evidence to be registered with a case. They argued that the case would not stop without proof of alcohol consumption.

However, while visiting Kannur, the State Police Chief Ravada A. Chandrasekhar implied the possibility of getting a lawsuit by calling the part as a great shame.
