CBSE Says Verification, Re-Evaluation Portal to Open from June 1

New Delhi: The portal for post-result activities, including verification and re-evaluation of answer books, will become operational from June 1, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said on Friday. In the statement regarding X, the board said that the decision was taken to ensure a “transparent and error-free process” for students applying for verification and re-evaluation of their answer books.

In the statement, “It has been decided that the designated portal will be operational as of June 1, 2026, in order to provide a transparent and error-free process for the verification and re-evaluation of the answer books of students who want to apply on the Post-Result Activities portal.”

The move aims to ensure the “highest standards and evaluation protocols”, the board said.

“Students who may have queries can reach CBSE Tele-Counseling Helpline – 1800 11 8004 and Email- resultcbse2026@cbseshiksha.in,” the board said.

The statement comes after the board had earlier said that the application portal for verification and re-evaluation of answer books is expected to be operational by May 29.

This development follows concerns raised by some students and parents about the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system.

The board has faced criticism from students and parents over technical glitches, payment failures and access-related issues during the verification and re-evaluation process.
