Janhvi Kapoor Condemns Lynching Of Hindu Man In Bangladesh

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has expressed deep sorrow over reports of mob violence against members of the Hindu community in Bangladesh. The issue attracted widespread attention following the brutal lynching of Dipu Chandra Das, a Hindu man of Indian origin, allegedly by an extremist group.

The incident sparked strong reactions on social media; Many users demanded strict action against those responsible and called on authorities to ensure the safety of minority communities.

Reacting to the incident, Janhvi Kapoor shared an emotional note on social media, condemning the violence and calling for greater awareness and accountability. “What happened in Bangladesh is barbaric. This is a massacre and not an isolated incident. If you don’t know about this inhumane public lynching, read it, watch the videos and ask questions. And if despite all this you don’t feel anger, then it is exactly this kind of hypocrisy that will destroy us before we even realize it.”

He added: “While our own brothers and sisters are being burned to death, we continue to cry about events on the other side of the world. Whether we are victims or perpetrators, all forms of social discrimination and extremism must be called out and condemned before we forget our humanity.”

Janhvi concluded her note by urging people to overcome divisions and stand up for the innocent lives lost due to communal hatred. “We are pawns who believe we reside on both sides of an invisible line. Realize this. Arm yourself with knowledge so you can take a stand for the innocent lives constantly lost and terrorized in this societal crossfire.”

On the work front, Janhvi is working with Ram Charan in ‘Peddi’ and is pinning high hopes on the rural sports drama. She made her Tollywood debut in ‘Devara’ opposite Jr NTR and its sequel looks doubtful.
