The price of domestic cooking gas LPG was increased by ₹60 per cylinder on Saturday, March 7, 2026, as oil companies factored in rising energy prices due to conflict in West Asia.
According to the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) website, the price of unsubsidized LPG used in the kitchens of ordinary home users, other than poor Ujjwala beneficiaries, will now be Rs 913 per 14.2 kg cylinder in Delhi.

The website stated that the price increase is valid as of March 7.
This is the second increase in interest rates in 11 months. Prices were last increased by 50 rupees in April last year.
According to the IOC website, the price of unsubsidised LPG in Mumbai is currently ₹912.50, in Kolkata it is ₹939 and in Chennai it is ₹928.50.

Rates vary from state to state depending on the rate of local sales tax or VAT.
Prices of Ujjwala, which is more than 10 crore connections given to the poor, have not changed.
Earlier this month, the price of commercial LPG used by businesses such as hotels and restaurants increased by ₹ 114.5 per 19 kg cylinder. It currently costs ₹1,883 in Delhi.
