He followed up with “none of the lawyers offered a principled resignation” that he said Justice Department prosecutors saw as a reaction to the policies, adding that the companies had “disgraced” themselves.
“Instead, they’re busy policing Stephen Colbert’s guest list,” he concluded. “Yesterday they were interfering with Stephen Colbert’s show, and today they’re lying about the law in a desperate defense of their own cowardice.”
