CRDA to acquire 1,800 acres in Amaravati for capital development

Andhra Pradesh applied to small farmers in Amaravati on Tuesday with their territory under the land of soil pooling (LPS) on Tuesday.
Mr. Narayana reiterated that the land pool would provide them with a significant higher long -term benefits compared to land acquisition.

However, in some project regions, small terrain parcels, each of which ranging from one acre from five acres to five acres, were not delivered to the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA). Together, he said they added about 1,800 acres.
Meanwhile, CRDA decided to acquire these parcels through land acquisition to ensure uninterrupted development.
The decision was taken during the 52th CRDA meeting chaired by Prime Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Mr. Narayana said Crda had transferred the powers to the commission to carry out the purchase process.
Repeating the objection of the Minister, LPS voluntarily participating in the farmers who participated in better return, advanced land and additional benefits compared to the purchase, he said. He called on the rest of the farmers to rethink and contribute to the smooth development of the capital.
