Premier League Darts 2026 results: Jonny Clayton beats Luke Littler to secure fourth nightly win

Jonny Clayton delighted the Rotterdam fans by extending his lead at the top of the Premier League by beating Luke Littler 6-4.

The Welshman kept his cool during Littler’s early attack in the final and managed to claim back-to-back night wins and his fourth of the year.

Littler was booed throughout the night following his swap for Dutch number one Gian van Veen in Manchester two weeks ago but shrugged it off to reach the final.

But Clayton proved too formidable, beating Gerwyn Price in the quarter-final and holding off the challenge of world number two Luke Humphries to win the thrilling semi-final 6-5.

Clayton is now five points clear of second-placed Littler but the world champion has an 11-point lead over fifth place and both men are almost certain to be at the O2 Arena for the final night on 28 May.

“I don’t watch a lot of matches but I watched the match against Michael last week. [van Gerwen] My back was turned and it stung a bit when someone said I was the favorite to finish bottom,” Clayton told Sky Sports. “This really hurt and pissed me off.”

“That really hurt. I’ve been here three times before and attended the final night, so hopefully I can prove them wrong.

“Definitely [it has given him some fuel]. They may also be looking at others. “They got the wrong person.”
