Dark past of Chappell Roan’s security guard who left young fan in tears… and his history of A-list humiliations

The Chappell Roan bodyguard who confronted Jude Law’s 11-year-old daughter on Saturday is the same security aide fired by Kim Kardashian after she was robbed in Paris in 2016, the Daily Mail has learned exclusively.
Sources said Pascal Duvier, 53, ‘aggressively’ confronted Ada Law while having breakfast with her mother at the same luxury hotel in São Paulo, Brazil, where Roan was staying.
Duvier previously worked for the Kardashians and was responsible for their security when the infamous jewelry heist took place, in which Kim stole an estimated $10 million.
At the time, the muscle heavy was at a nightclub with Kim’s sisters Kourtney and Kendall, leaving the Keeping Up With The Kardashians mainstay vulnerable.
The security guard was sued by the reality star’s insurance company over the incident, and the case was eventually settled in 2020.
Duvier is currently looking after the safety of Pink Pony Club singer Roan and was at the center of an argument at the five-star Palácio Tangará hotel over the weekend that left Ada in tears.

Duvier was working as Chappell Roan’s security guard in São Paulo last weekend when he allegedly confronted him at the behest of Jude Law’s 11-year-old daughter.
The little girl was at the hotel with her mother, Catherine Harding, and the duo planned to attend Roan’s performance at the Lollapalooza music festival as a birthday present for Ada.
But the trip was scrapped when Duvier walked in, according to a social media post written by Ada’s angry stepfather, football star Jorginho Frello, 34.
Jorginho, who previously played for Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Chelsea, said the conflict took place after Ada passed by the table where Roan was having breakfast.
The midfielder said his stepdaughter double-checked to make sure it was the singer, famous for her heavy drag-style make-up, before returning to her own table.
It was there that a towering Duvier confronted the mother and little girl, leaving Ada ‘extremely shaken’ and in tears.
Harding and Ada, 34, were also staying at the hotel and had planned to see Roan perform; Jorginho posted a photo of the little girl’s handmade fan art celebrating the singer.

London-born Harding also addressed the controversy in a social media post late Sunday night, acknowledging that Roan had denied personally sending Duvier to intervene.
Responding to his comments, Harding said: ‘Look, I don’t want to hope so, but at the same time, when you’re a celebrity I think you have a responsibility to make sure that the people who work for you and act on your behalf are acting on your behalf.’
He added: ‘Would he have done this if he had not had the authority to do so? I don’t know. If so, then that’s a big problem because then he’s representing her in a way that she doesn’t want to be represented.’
According to Harding, the incident “ruined” Ada’s birthday treat after Duvier chose to “scolde and scold” the mother-daughter pair in a “very aggressive tone”.
Harding added: ‘For me, I feel like [Roan] I didn’t actually send it [the security guard] It crossed the line because it was pretty scary [man].’
The mother of two also claimed that Duvier told her that her daughter was ‘poorly educated’ and threatened to complain to the hotel.
Chappell Roan later publicly apologized to Jude Law’s daughter on Instagram, insisting he did not want any security guards to approach him, just hours after his team was accused of leaving the young fan in tears.
Duvier is known as the long-time bodyguard of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. The famous couple decided to part ways in November 2016.
Harding concluded: ‘If it wasn’t for him, I hope he learns not to let the people who work for him treat people that way.’
The fallout from the altercation resulted in Roan being banned from performing in Rio de Janeiro (where Jorginho is currently trading with Brazilian Série A club Flamengo) by mayor Eduardo Cavaliere.

He added: ‘I doubt Shakira would do this! By the way @FrelloJorginho, your little one is already the guest of honor at the event in May!’
Roan refused to send Duvier to confront Ada and publicly apologized. His representative insists ‘Duvier is not Chappell Roan’s personal safety in South America.’
The Daily Mail contacted Duvier for comment.
