Dec 2027 Deadline Set for New Telangana High Court Complex, OGH

Hyderabad: The new building of the Telangana High Court in Rajendranagar and the new Osmania General Hospital in Goshamahal will be opened in December 2027, while work on 10 packages under the hybrid revenue model (HAM) road program will begin this month.
Roads and Works Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, who chaired a review meeting here on Friday, instructed senior officials to expedite the work and ensure its completion on time.
Venkat Reddy said that the first phase of the HAM road program envisages construction of 6,092 km of roads under 34 packages at an estimated cost of around Rs 13,000 crore. Work has started on the 42 kilometer Nalgonda-Mahbubnagar double road project within the scope of Package-2. 10 more packs will be released later this month. The minister instructed the officials to speed up the implementation and start work in three shifts to meet the deadlines after the monsoon rains.
The Minister asked the chief engineers to assign experienced field engineers for each package and monitor the quality closely. He also announced that the foundation stones of HAM and Central Road Fund (CRF) road projects in Karimnagar district will be laid on July 6.
Venkat Reddy, who inspected the work on the Supreme Court complex and judges’ quarters in Rajendranagar, directed the authorities to send additional manpower and strengthen supervision to meet the deadline of December 2027. He also reviewed the progress of work at Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (Tims) hospitals in Sanathnagar, Alwal and LB Nagar, expansion of Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences and expansion of Warangal Multi Super Specialty Hospital, directing officials to expedite the work.
Warning against delays, the minister said that he would start surprise inspections at project sites starting this week and take action against negligent officials. He also reviewed the temple development works at Basara and Bhadrachalam and preparations for Godavari Pushkaralu and directed the officials to complete all assigned works on time.
