DOJ rejects Ghislaine Maxwell’s appeal in SCOTUS response

On Monday, the Ministry of Justice asked the Supreme Court to appeal the Jeffrey Epstein Associate Ghilaine Maxwell to appeal to the sex trade conviction, the episode was a move because Epstein was under fire to address case files.
In 2021, a 63 -year -old Maxwell was convicted by a jury in New York, a small and conspiracy, including sex smuggling. Wasm was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
In 2007, Maxwell objected to his conviction, saying that it should be launched for various reasons, including a defense agreement with the Federal Government.

The US rejected the appeal of the second -circuit appeal, but Maxwell argued that the circuit courts gave different orders about what kind of immunity was given through non -protective agreements such as Epstein, which was taken in 2007 and the high court.
Tallahassee assigns Maxwell prison in Florida. It will end in 2037.
Doj’s response to the Supreme Court comes after the fury of President Donald Trump’s supporters by explaining that Epstein had no new information about Epstein’s case. In 2019, Epstein was accused of sex smuggling, but he died before the trial. The authorities decided that their death was caused by suicide.

Some Trump Doj officials have developed theories that the government hidden information about Epstein’s case, but since then they have withdrawn these claims.
Congress can call Maxwell to testify before the deputies. Daily Mail, referring to anonymous sources, reported that Maxwell was interested in doing so on Monday. Maxwell’s lawyer did not respond to a Fox News Digital’s request for a comment on the report.
However, his lawyer received a Jab in Trump on Doj’s position on Maxwell’s appeal.
Lawyer David Oscar Markus said, “I would be surprised if President Trump knew he wanted the high court to allow the government to make an agreement.” He said. He continued: “And I’m sure when the United States promised the United States, it is unjust to stay in a promise of Ghislaine Maxwell made and broken with all the conversations about who was prosecuted and who is not.”
