Donald Trump chillingly threatens to ‘blast the hell out of Iran’ | World | News

Donald Trump chillingly threatened to “throw Iran into hell” as he sent a major warning against reaching a deal with the US. Tensions between the two countries are still at breaking point as America continues to blockade the Strait of Hormuz, stopping Iran’s vital oil and gas supplies from leaving the vital shipping channel.
A deal between the two sides seems further away than ever, and rounds of negotiations are collapsing without an agreement. Now, Mr. Trump has warned that Iran has two options. He told reporters outside the White House: “Do we want to go blow them up and end them forever, or do we want to try to make a deal?” When asked if the US President wanted to “get rid of Iran”, he replied: “On a humanitarian basis, I would prefer not to do that, but that is the option.” Mr Trump also shot down fears that the US could run out of missiles after reports that White House officials were becoming concerned about the inventory.
He said: “We actually have more than we’ve ever had, because we have inventory all over the world and we can get it if we need it. We have a tremendous amount of inventory all over the world.”
“We are stocked, locked and loaded. We currently have more than double what we had when this started.”
The President also told reporters outside the White House that anyone who tolerates Iran having nuclear weapons is “not very smart.”
He said: “If they are allowed to have nuclear weapons, that will be a very bad thing in the future.
“You run into problems the world hasn’t seen before, and it’s not going to happen.
“Other than that, they don’t have a navy right now… they don’t have an air force. It’s been destroyed.
“They have nothing. They have no anti-aircraft guns. They have no radar.”
