Dumping Jacinta Allan is Victorian Labor’s best and only hope

If the Allan government’s lack of integrity and lack of any understanding of the stewardship of taxpayers’ money were not enough to prompt Victorian Labor MPs to sack their premier, it may be possible if election defeat is expected.

Growing chatter within Victorian Labor about the need to dump Jacinta Allan ahead of elections later this year suggests a party in power (it has been in power for 33 of the last 44 years) sees Allan as a major weight on its chances of a fourth consecutive term.
