Earthquake of 4.6-magnitude shakes Kashmir

A 4.6 magnitude earthquake shook Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district in the early hours of Monday, February 2, 2026, officials said.

Stating that the earthquake occurred at 5.35 in the morning, officials stated that the epicenter was the Pattan region.

Authorities stated that no damage has occurred due to the earthquake so far.
