Racing punter turns 52p bet into £12,000 payout in ‘nightmare’ for bookies

A Punter put a “dream” bet to challenge rates and turn 52p into a payment of £ 12,000.
The anonymous Bettor landed on Saturday with a multiple winners in four racing in the four racing area and produced a decrease of £ 11,777.04.
Punter, Haydock, Kempton, Ascot and Stratford by choosing horses, the bettor William Hill with eight layers of accumulator in all directions had placed. One horse retreated, but seven other people won.
The winner started in Haydock, where Zeus Olympios, supported by 4-1, won the opener before hitting the governor’s 1m6f handicap. Attention then returned to Kempton, where five roads Sirenia Stakes returned to Caprelo, which gave power to three lengths in the 2m handicap in 5-1 and then in 2m handicap.
Abloom provided a single ascot success in 11-2 before moving to Stratford’s evening card. On the night of Hamlet, he jumped home at eight-length at 5-4, and the last leg Radharc Na Slaine stuck by a neck at 4-1 to complete the extraordinary series.
Punter initially contained Haydock a war eagle, but the horse retreated and the bet dropped to seven legs.
William Hill spokesman Lee Phelps said: “A bettor’s cents to turn thousands of people into thousands of people and something to attract the nightmares of bettors and this was exactly the weekend.
“At the four Saturday meeting, every 26p, eight floors landed and saw Punter moved away from about £ 12,000.
“This is a remarkable bet that shocked our trade team and we must greet the fountain in question.”
The “all -way” betting is essentially two bets in one. Half of the bet is placed in the horse to win, and the other half is usually placed on the horse to finish the first three or quarters, depending on the race and the conditions of the bookmaker.
If the horse wins, both parts are paid; If only placed, bettor still gets a return, although it is smaller. In this case, since all the chosen horses won, he grew the total payment, which was collected in both half of the bet.
