Epstein victim says she had dinner with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and was at Princess Beatrice’s 18th birthday party

A woman whom Jeffrey Epstein abused for more than a decade said she had dinner with former Prince Andrew and attended Princess Beatrice’s 18th birthday party in Windsor.

Sarah Kellen told the US House of Representatives Oversight Committee, which is conducting a congressional investigation into Epstein, that she had dinner with the pedophile financier at Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s private apartment in Buckingham Palace.

Her testimony marked the first time a woman who was sexually abused by Epstein has spoken publicly about going to royal residences.

James Comer, the committee’s Republican chairman, said Epstein and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell were talking about “the horrific abuse she endured for years” while working for the pair.

In newly released transcripts of the deposition, Ms Kellen told the committee: “I was at Princess Beatrice’s 18th birthday party at Windsor Castle and at Sheikh Mohammed’s desert home in Dubai. I sat across the table from Ehud Barak in Israel.”

She later testified that they “went to Andrew’s private apartment at Buckingham Palace for dinner.”

Ms Kellen said she had not witnessed “inappropriate behaviour” by the disgraced royal. He has always consistently and vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

The former Duke of York was arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office following allegations that he passed sensitive government information to Epstein.

Last month, it was revealed that Thames Valley Police was also investigating Mr Mountbatten-Windsor for allegations of sexual misconduct in its investigation into possible misconduct in public office.

Ms. Kellen also recalled meeting Bill Clinton, Bill Gates and Donald Trump, but did not accuse any of the men of wrongdoing.

Of Epstein’s powerful connections, he told the committee: “Jeffrey managed to deceive and manipulate the brightest minds in the world. We victims didn’t stand a chance. I was a high school dropout in North Carolina. I was a silent body in a chair next to the men who started and ended wars.”

“I completely realized that if Jeffrey could get into those rooms, he could get into any room in the world. He could find me anywhere in the world.”

Ms. Kellen was among four potential accomplices named in a controversial 2007 “non-prosecution agreement” that helped Epstein avoid more serious criminal charges in Florida.

He has denied any wrongdoing in the case. In her opening statement to the committee, she said that Epstein sexually and psychologically abused her for more than a decade.

“I was stuck in Jeffrey Epstein’s world,” he said. “He groomed me, sexually and psychologically abused me, controlled me, manipulated me, dominated me, and gaslighted me until I could no longer tell which thoughts were mine and which were his.”

He said he was never contacted by any federal, state, local or foreign law enforcement agency from the early 2000s, when he began working for Epstein, until July 2019, after which he met with federal prosecutors in New York.

Buckingham Palace has been contacted for comment.

A spokesman said in an earlier statement: “Her Majesty would like to make it clear that her thoughts and utmost sympathies are with the victims and survivors of all forms of abuse and remain with them.”

Representatives for Mr Mountbatten-Windsor and Princess Beatrice have also been contacted for comment.
