Erika Kirk: Jacob Wenske charged over alleged death, terror threat to Charlie Kirk widow, Turning Point USA

A man has been charged after allegedly threatening to kill Erika Kirk, the wife of Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated last year.
Ms. Kirk, who is currently the chief executive and president of the Turning Point USA political group, is scheduled to speak at one of the organization’s events in June, which has allegedly been targeted by the terrorist threat.
Jacob Wenske, 26, allegedly commented on a social media post promoting Ms Kirk’s attendance at the event and said he knew “where to bomb”, according to police documents.
A comment on the post allegedly said, “I know exactly where to bomb.”
“I can’t wait to be her escort’s butler,” he allegedly added in another follow-up comment.
It is understood Mr Wenske previously worked for a car park company that provided a car valet service for large events.
Police also claim to have found an account linked to Mr. Wenske that emailed Turning Point USA in January 2026 and allegedly mentioned bombings at the group’s events.
“Death to Erika Kirk and all the speakers there! America will survive without these scumbags in this world. Every Christian nationalist will be destroyed in the bombings that will take place at every Turning Point rally and event.”
US media outlet KSAT He claimed that Mr Wenske currently faces two charges of making terroristic threats that caused public fear.
Responding to the accusations, Turning Point USA said it did not allow threats to silence the group.
“Turning Point USA takes all threats seriously and we work closely with law enforcement at all levels to respond to and resolve any threats,” a statement posted on social media said.
“We are grateful to the San Antonio Police Department and the FBI for quickly responding and arresting the individual who made these threats.
“The safety of our attendees, speakers and staff is always our top priority. All TPUSA events include enhanced, multi-layered security measures implemented by both private security and local police.
“We refuse to let threats silence us. We look forward to a successful and inspiring gathering of more than 2,500 women attending the Women’s Leadership Summit in San Antonio June 5-7!”
Conservative activist Kirk was shot and killed during a debate at the University of Utah in September 2025.
The event will continue while Mr. Wenske awaits his court date.
