The jury enters negotiations in the second week in the big mushroom murder case
Erin Patterson’s jury at the mushroom murder hearing is entering the second week on Monday.
The Victoria Supreme Court Justice Christopher Beale completed its address last Monday afternoon – or ‘accusation’ – before her retirement to negotiate the jury decision.
Two jury votes were carved and left 12 to decide the fate of Patterson.
Five women and seven men will continue to negotiate at 10.30, so there is a possibility of a remarkable decision in the murder case today.
50 -year -old Patterson is accused of killing his mother -in -law Don and Gail Patterson and Gail’s sister, Heather Wilkinson, and after serving a beef Wellington lunch made with the mushrooms of the death cover.
Patterson is also accused of trying to kill Heather’s husband Pastor Ian Wilkinson, who survived lunch after spending a few weeks in an intensive care unit.
