Express readers vote on if Angela Rayner should resign | Politics | News

Angela Rayner admitted that the stamp tax invoice from an £ 800,000 Hove property received a low wage and applied to the independent advisor for the investigation. The Deputy Prime Minister avoided paying the new coast office to pay 70,000 £ 7,000, instead paid only £ 30,000. The documents made with the land record announced by Telegraph show that Ms. Rayner has sold its 25% stake in Greater Manchester House, which she shared with her ex -husband, for £ 162,500.
Speaking with Sky News, Housing Minister said that the life arrangement was “complex” because his first house was sold to confidence after his divorce with Mark Rayner last year. He claims that this is to stability for his disabled son. The Deputy Prime Minister has now received the wrong tax advice and since then he has been “packing them all”. Ms. Rayner said that she could not talk about a court for a court order that prevented all the details about property ownership, but applied to the court for permission.

Deputy Prime Minister said in a statement: “When buying the property, my understanding of the advice from lawyers meant that I was responsible for the standard stamp tax rate.
“Considering the latest claims in the press, I gave more advice from a leading tax consultant to review this position and to ensure that I fully comply with all tax provisions.
“Now, although I have no other property during the purchase, it was recommended that the complex acceptance provisions of my son’s trust led to additional stamp tax obligations.
“Depending on my confidence from lawyers who do not take these provisions properly, I agree that I do not pay the appropriate stamp tax during the purchase. I am trying to solve the issue with expert lawyers and HMRC and to pay what is paid.”
“The arrangements I have mentioned reflect the fact that family life is rarely simple while dealing with disability, divorce and the complexity of your children’s long -term safety. Every decision I make was directed by what I believe is in the best interests of my children.
Im I deeply regret the mistake made.
