Fire guts house in Stratton overnight

According to reports overnight, a house in Perth’s south-east has been completely destroyed by fire, leaving its owners with nothing but charred remains to examine.

The fire broke out in a unit at Burton Retreat in Stratton just after midnight.

Fire crews extinguished the fire in less than an hour and prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring buildings.

The reason is unknown.
