GameStop is replacing its long-standing trade tradition with something completely new and a little crazy. From homemade crafts to unusual collectibles, the options are surprisingly broad.

GameStop is taking its trade-in program into uncharted territory with the launch of its first-ever “Trade Anything Day.” For many millennials and older Gen Z gamers, trading in old games or consoles at the store is a familiar ritual. But on Saturday, December 6, that experience undergoes a major transformation, USA Today reports.

This year, the retailer is opening its doors to just about anything customers might want to part with, as long as it fits in a 20x20x20 box. In an email to USA TODAY, GameStop confirmed that shoppers will be allowed to bring an item of their choice and exchange it for store credit.
