Israel strikes Hamas targets in Gaza after multiple ceasefire violations

The Israeli army launched an offensive against Hamas in Gaza after accusing the terrorist group of repeatedly violating a ceasefire agreement on Sunday.

An Israeli military official confirmed the attacks to Fox News on Sunday, citing attacks by Hamas since Friday. The attack on Israeli forces all occurred beyond the line from which Israel had withdrawn under the terms of the agreement, the official said.

“The terrorist organization Hamas carried out numerous attacks on Israeli forces beyond the yellow line. The attacks included RPG firing on a military force and sniper fire on a military force,” the official told Fox News. he said.

“Both incidents occurred in Israeli-controlled territory, east of the yellow line. This is a bold violation of the ceasefire,” the official added.
