RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jung Kook to do 79 shows in 34 cities; is India on the list?

Popular K-Pop group and global phenomenon BTS, consisting of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook, are set to put on dazzling performances in 34 cities around the world from April 2026 to March 2027. Did India make the cut? To understand.

BTS announces 2026-27 world tour

K-pop group BTS, consisting of singers RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook, announced the dates of their world tour, which will span two years in 2026 and 2027 and will include 79 performances in 34 cities. The seven-member band will kick off the tour with three local concerts in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9 and April 11-12, followed by dates in Tokyo, Japan, before embarking on an extensive North American run.

The American leg consists of 28 shows in 12 cities, including stops in Tampa, Florida; El Paso, Texas; Mexico City; Stanford, California; Vegas; East Rutherford, NJ; Foxborough, Massachusetts; Baltimore; Arlington, Texas; Toronto; and Chicago. The band will wrap up the North American portion with four performances at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on September 1-2 and 5-6.

BTS returns to Busan in mid-June during the tour. European dates will take place in Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich and Paris in June and July. The tour then returns to Latin America with performances in Bogota, Colombia; Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and São Paulo, Brazil, throughout October.

The tour will continue in the Asia-Pacific regions in late 2026 and early 2027, with shows planned in Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Bangkok, Thailand; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Singapore; Jakarta, Indonesia; Melbourne and Sydney, Australia; Hong Kong; and Manila, Philippines. Although there are thousands of BTS fans in India, the group will not hold a concert in this country.

BTS has been on hiatus for two years due to solo ventures and military service obligations. The tour announcement comes as BTS prepares to release a new album on March 20, the group’s first all-new material since 2020, marking the group’s comeback following individual member events.
