The albino buffalo nicknamed ‘Donald Trump’ will be slaughtered in Bangladesh despite being a big star on social media. The 1,500 lb bull has become a yellow-crested star and attracts a steady stream of curious visitors.

The buffalo’s owner, Zia Uddin Mridha, 38, said her brother chose to name the animal after Mr. Trump because of its distinctive, eye-catching plumage. He added that during May, many visitors went to his farm in Narayanganj near Dhaka to see the buffalos with their own eyes.

Buffaloes will be slaughtered, as well as some 12 million livestock, as Bangladesh prepares for the Muslim Eid al-Adha celebration later this month.
