ICE detainee killed in Dallas facility shooting, criminal past revealed

Authorities in Dallas identified one of the deceased victims on Wednesday when an illegal immigrant from El Salvador opened fire on the US immigration and Customs Protection (ICE) facility.

37-year-old Norlan Guzman-Fuentes remained in custody when he was killed during a sniper attack at Ice Dallas Field Office. Guzman was held by the local law enforcement officers when Ice took him.

According to ICE records, it is not known when and where Guzman entered the USA. However, the penalty date arrested Florida’s Palm Springs, Palm Beach County Sharif Office with a battery, dating back to 19 February 2012 and accused of a innocent firearms or dangerous weapons or dangerous weapons and criminal mischief. All charges except the penalty were fell.

On August 25, Dallas Police Department arrested Guzman, who was later accused of aggravated attack with a deadly weapon. He also had an extraordinary order for driving when he was drunk. That day, after he was arrested, Ice took him to Dallas District Prison and made an arrest.

On September 10, the accusation of the aggravated attack on charges of a deadly weapon was rejected.

On September 24, the Execution and Lift Operations (ERO) Dallas arrested Guzman into custody for arrest. When he arrived at the Ero Dallas Field Office, ICE officers met an active shooter at the facility targeting immigration officials.

Authorities, the suspect, 29 -year -old Joshua Jahn’ın federal agents by killing terrorism, he said. Jahn shot himself deadly after the attack.
