Venezuela and the colonial enterprise

US PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP claims that his aggression against Nicolás Maduro is for the noble purpose of restoring democracy in Venezuela, but history shows us that the United States is no friend of democracy in Latin America.

The United States is notorious for interfering in the democratic process in every country south of the American border. It is common knowledge that it is nearly impossible to maintain power in any Latin American democracy if the United States decides it is time for you to go.

The way the world economy works is that rich countries produce products that poor countries need, such as technology. To afford these products, poor countries must offer what the rich need. This is usually minerals or fossil fuels. If the rich don’t like the way you run your country, that is, if you don’t run your country the way they tell you to, they will use their enormous economic power to cripple your economy by cutting off the most vital thing you need: finance. The rich control the money supply. They turn off the tap. Your country goes bankrupt, people get angry and throw you out. The US-backed mafia comes in and the tap is turned on again. The anger of the masses subsides, and the status quo returns in a completely democratic manner without a single shot being fired.

A nation cannot preserve its independence through democratic means if it objects to this independence, as governments often do.

The only way to preserve your independence is to suspend normal democratic rights and be prepared to defend your country by military means. If you take this drastic step, you will face the approval of the entire “democratic” world. You will no longer be seen as a legitimate state. That’s when they really turn the screws and impose an economic blockade on your struggling little country. This forces you to turn to less popular regimes for life support, thus placing you firmly in the enemy camp ripe for full-scale military invasion.

The United States imposed an extremely strict economic blockade on Cuba in 1962. This blockade still continues, the longest economic blockade in history. Any company that trades with Cuba cannot trade with the United States, literally.

But only a fool would think these actions have anything to do with democracy. Here in the rich world, democracy is a game we play. If we are losing the match, that’s when things get serious. The USA is currently going through a painful process of getting rid of the understanding of democracy it has long adopted.

Israel reserves democratic rights only for Jews, as well as for a small minority of Arabs whom it neglected to exterminate long ago (something they regret). The rest of his subjects are subject to military dictatorship. All Jewish people have the right to vote, regardless of where they live in Palestine. Arab citizens are allowed to vote as long as they do not live in Gaza or the West Bank. There are 9.5 million citizens in Israel (this includes Jewish settlers in the West Bank), two million of whom are Arabs. Until recently, more than two million people lived in Gaza. (IDF is making extraordinary efforts to reduce this number). 2.5 million people live in the West Bank. This means that the total population under Israeli control is 14 million; Of these, 9.5 million have the right to vote, while the remaining 4.5 million have lived under an extremely brutal military dictatorship for generations.

In other words, we can say that 63 percent of Israeli territory is democracy and 37 percent is military dictatorship.

This is not very different from the way Australia was governed until recently.

Our nation began as a military dictatorship. While invaders and settlers were eventually allowed to vote, indigenous people continued to be ruled by a brutal military dictatorship until 1967. “Blackfullas” were seen as enemies to be shot on sight. The last recorded massacre was the Conniston Massacre in 1928. It is a general rule for any self-respecting colonial power to exclude local indigenous populations from the democratic process until they have reduced their numbers to the point where they no longer pose a threat to your idea of ”civilization”.

A colonial enterprise must reduce the ratio of locals to interventionists. This is achieved by two simultaneous methods: depopulating the local population through extermination, while populating the region with immigrants from the “home country”.

When Captain Cook arrived in Australia there were approximately one million blackfull. This number was quickly and efficiently reduced to a much more manageable size. The number of full-blooded blackfulls in Tasmania has been reduced to zero. In Victoria this number has been reduced to three. Still, it took nearly 200 years for interventionists to feel secure enough to grant democratic rights to the last indigenous remnants.

To return to Palestine. The ne’er-do-wells arrived en masse around 1947-8. They immediately set about adjusting the ratio of locals to occupiers (following the colonial textbook to the letter) through a campaign of mass terror. Zionists expelled more than a million Palestinians from their homes at gunpoint, with nothing they could carry on their backs. They then blew up their houses and set booby traps so they could never return. This is how the state of Israel was founded on ethnic cleansing. Since that time nearly 80 years ago, Palestinians have lived under brutal military rule, but so far there have been few attempts to get rid of them completely. This policy has changed. The Arab Palestinian community is growing faster than the Jews. Partly because the Arabs outscored the Jews 3-1, congratulations team! But also because Israel is not such a popular place to come and live anymore, for obvious reasons. The Israeli regime is aware that it cannot sustain a Jewish state when its Arab population approaches equality. So now they are talking about driving the Arabs out of the Israeli enclave, Gaza and the West Bank. In their eyes, this would free up new lands to be given to them, while reducing the threat of violence that deters potential immigrants, and the problem would be solved!
