Iran Guards say targeted US bases in Bahrain and Kuwait as West Asia broil reignites

Tehran: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said on Thursday that they had struck bases in Kuwait and Bahrain in response to recent US attacks.
“During the two waves of operations, 18 important US Army targets were hit at Ali and Ahmed Ahmed Air Force bases,” the Guard said in a statement quoted by state-run IRNA, adding that they also “hit and destroyed Sheikh Issa air bases.”
Iranian media had previously reported that Iran attacked the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
