Israel’s new ambassador, daylight savings ends, Rudd departs

The federal parliament will meet, Anthony Albanese will speak at the National Press Club and Kevin Rudd will finish his time at the Washington embassy.

Parliament will meet from today until Wednesday and some interesting private members’ bills have already been introduced. Independent Curtin MP Kate Chaney made a suggestion: Bill to stop gambling advertisingand One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce proposed a bill titled “Removal of Australian citizenship from terrorists”.
