It is Siddaramaiah Cabinet, Not Shivakumar’s, says Karnataka BJP chief Vijayendra

Mandya: BJP state president BY Vijayendra on Thursday said that the list of ministers of the Congress government led by Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has made it clear that it bears the imprint of Siddaramaiah. Predicting the “fall” of the Congress government in the state, the Shikaripura MLA said the BJP is ready for the assembly elections.
“DK Shivakumar has fulfilled his long-desired dream of becoming the Chief Minister of the state. Going through the list of ministers, it is clear that this is previous Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s cabinet and not Shivakumar’s,” Vijayendra told reporters in the district headquarters town of Mandya. he said.
He added that Siddaramaiah had accepted the report of the Karnataka Backward Classes Commission before leaving office and challenged the new Chief Minister to decide what to do with it.
According to the BJP leader, Shivakumar will spend the next two years just getting used to taking everyone on board.
He stated that there will be no development activities in the next two years due to the economic burden that the guarantees will bring to the state.
Pointing out that there are huge challenges ahead for the Prime Minister, he said, “What is quite clear is that there is no honeymoon period for Shivakumar.” he said.
Stating that he doubts the longevity of the Congress government, he said that the BJP is always ready to fight for the next assembly elections to bring the party to power.”
Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly R Ashoka said that the Shivakumar government will be run with the remote control of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru, he said the change of CM in the state was like changing the poster of an old movie. Only the name on the sign in front of the Prime Minister’s residence changed, but the problems of the people remained the same.
“Although there was an expectation that the state would get new ministers, no new faces emerged. Siddaramaiah’s son Yathindra became a minister, but apart from that, there is nothing new,” Ashoka said.
He also criticized the government for not admitting any women into the government.
