Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua: American goes to hospital after fight

Jake Paul was hospitalized with a suspected broken jaw after being stopped by Anthony Joshua during their heavyweight bout in Miami.
The American went six rounds with the two-time heavyweight world champion but failed to beat the count after repeated knockouts.
The YouTuber, a former boxer, hit the bullseye twice in the fifth and sixth rounds and said in his post-fight comments that he believed his jaw was “definitely” broken.
As a result, the 28-year-old missed the post-fight press conference and Most Valuable Promotions chief Nakisa Bidarian confirmed Paul had gone to hospital.
“We think he broke his jaw. But he’s OK,” Bidarian said.
“He took a shower, went to the hospital. Jaw fractures are very common in sports, especially boxing or MMA. The recovery period is four to six weeks.”
