Jharkhand Education Minister Ramdas Soren passed away on Friday at the age of 62. He was receiving medical treatment in a private hospital in Delhi. Kunal Sarnagi, the national spokesman of his party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), told PTI in his statement that he was critical and had life support. Jharkhand Prime Minister Heman Soren seduced the death of the Minister of State. In an article in X (formerly twitter), cm wrote: “You shouldn’t have stayed like this, Ramdas.”

How did Ramdas Soren’s health deteriorate and where was he treated?
Ramdas Soren experienced a serious brain damage and blood clot after falling in the bathroom of his residence. He was sent to the national capital from Jamshedpur on 2 August for treatment at the Apollo hospital of the city. Who was Ramdas Soren and how was his political journey?
Ramdas Soren was born in 1963 in the village of Ghorabandha from the East Singhbhum region of Jharkhand. He started his political career as Gram Pradhan from the village of Panchayat. Born in a middle -class farmer family, Soren rose on the ranks over the years. In 1990, Jamshedpur became the President of JMM’s East. Ghatshila objected to the state surveys from the election zone and became a member of the Jharkhand Assembly for the first time in 2009. He won the same chair twice in the 2019 and 2024 elections. Soren, a leading face of JMM, was known to encourage tribal rights and educational reforms in the Eastern province. The transition comes at a time when JMM’nin party founder and former Jharkhand cm Shibu Soren mourned the loss.
