Joe Rogan claims Trump started the war in Iran to distract Americans from the Epstein files

Joe Rogan He said he thought he was President on the Wednesday episode of his popular podcast Donald Trump it could be started the war inside Iranian To distract the US public from the Epstein files.
Rogan’s guest during the episode was, Arsenio HallHe claimed that “misdirection” was “the story of American politics.”
Rogan agreed with Hall and said the former President Bill Clinton He began “bombing other countries” – a reference to the bombing of then-Yugoslavia in 1999 – to distract Americans from the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
Podcast host later takes on US war Iranian It was the latest example of politicians using war to distract from domestic issues.
“Look, the Epstein files are coming out; we’re going to war with Iran. That’s a good way to get people to stop talking about certain things,” Rogan said.
“You give them a new problem to think about.”

Trump was referenced repeatedly in the Epstein files, and his former friendship with the disgraced financier and accused child sex trafficker became public record.
The president has not been accused or charged with any crime related to Epstein, and has insisted he broke off his friendship with the sex offender long before Epstein was convicted in 2008 of soliciting prostitution, including a minor.
Rogan supported Trump in 2024, but his views on the president have soured rapidly since the start of the war in Iran.
The podcaster criticized Trump’s “Operation Epic Rage” in Iran and warned that it could drag the world into the Third World War. He also questioned Trump’s age, fearing that the 79-year-old might act recklessly “because he doesn’t have much to lose.”
“It’s scary. It’s scary. You’re making decisions for babies and children and the future of the world, and if all goes well, you only have 10, maybe 10 years left on Earth,” Rogan said on his March 11 podcast.

In the same episode, Rogan said Trump’s supporters felt “betrayed” by his decision to go to war.
“I mean, a lot of people feel betrayed by that, right? He said ‘no more wars,’ ‘end these stupid, pointless wars,’ and then we’re faced with a war where we can’t even really define clearly why we’re doing this,” Rogan said.
Although Rogan and more moderate Republicans felt betrayed by Trump’s attack on Iran, polls had shown the president’s MAGA base overwhelmingly supported Trump’s decision.
Rogan doesn’t consider himself MAGA and recently called Trump’s base “fuckin’ idiots” determined to fulfill biblical end-time prophecies.
On March 26, Rogan complained about Trump’s slogan, saying it “sucks” and “America is great.”
“Making America greater? I’m down there,” Rogan said, before directing his anger at Trump’s MAGA followers.
MAGA, he said, “has become a movement of a bunch of fucking idiots, because most of them are idiots. A lot of them are really weird, fucking irrelevant, unintelligent people who have something they’re holding on to, and there’s a lot of people who are really real patriots, and they’re all lumped into this one group, and you gotta accept the idiots, huh? Fuck that!”
Rogan went on to complain that “crazy Christian nationalists” had joined the MAGA movement and fueled the war in Iran “as a way to get Jesus to return on a white horse.”
Independent He requested comment from the White House.
