Report: Moore set for arraignment following firing and detainment

The Sherrone Moore saga continues and shows no signs of slowing down. The beleaguered Michigan football head coach was fired Wednesday for an inappropriate relationship and was taken into police custody shortly after for assault allegations and has since spent the night in the Washtenaw County jail.

As of Thursday, there was no word yet from the Washtenaw County prosecutor on whether he would file charges, but it appears that has changed.

According to reports, starting with ESPN’s Dan Wetzel, Moore will be arraigned in Pittsfield Township (Ann Arbor) on Friday following his firing.

After Moore was fired on Wednesday, he allegedly assaulted the other party for an inappropriate relationship, and the case will potentially go to trial. No details were released as the investigation continues.
