JS Veera Mahilas Protest Outside Activist’s House

Kakinada:Jana Sena (JS) Veera Mahilas staged a protest from Wednesday night to Thursday evening outside the house of Bojja Iswarya, who describes himself as an independent social activist. Veera Mahilas alleged that Iswarya made derogatory remarks against Jana Sena chief and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan.

The protesters demanded that the police file a case against Iswarya and take action in accordance with the law. The police and some JS leaders tried to persuade the protesters to withdraw their agitation. However, they continued their protests.

JS Veera Mahila leader Kadali Eswari warned that Iswarya’s remarks could disrupt law and order and demanded action against him.

Speaking on the issue, Jana Sena leader Nandamuru VV Vinod said that if Iswarya has any objections about the functioning of the government or the behavior of political leaders, he is free to criticize them in a democratic manner. Vinod, however, maintained that Iswarya cannot make derogatory remarks against party leaders.

On Thursday morning, JS Kakinada chairman Thota Sudhir, Kakinada Urban Development Authority chairman Talatam Satyanarayana and other leaders visited the protest site of Veera Mahilas.

According to Jana Sena leaders, the party’s central committee has directed the protesters to withdraw their agitation. After this, the agitating JS activists dispersed.

Meanwhile, JS activists have lodged separate complaints against Iswarya at Kakinada, Sarpavaram, Pithapuram and Katrenikona police stations.
