Judge sets April 2027 date for Alex Murdaugh retrial

Former South Carolina attorney Alex Murdaugh, who was convicted of the double murders of his wife and son, is set for a retrial in April 2027. Murdaugh’s conviction was previously overturned after the South Carolina Supreme Court said a clerk influenced the jury during the 2023 trial.
