Kalyani Priyadarshan, Naslen film is unstoppable; crosses Rs 150 crore worldwide

Malayalam Superhero Movie Lokah Part 1: Chandra cannot be stopped at the box office. The film, directed by Kalyani Priyadarshan as the first female superhero of Indian cinema, is directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under poster Wayfarer. Lokah Part 1 has been throwing the box office since its release on 28 August.

Within the first nine days, Kalyani Priyadarshan won 62.35 Crore Net in India and won 144 RS Crore worldwide. According to first estimates from Sacnilk, entertainment monitoring portal, Lokah Part 1 collected 9.75 RS net in India. This means that the film has crossed the worldwide RS 150 Crore sign and progresses to the RS 100 Crore sign in India.

Malayalam Cinema has tasted with great commercial successes with Mohanlal this year and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, with great commercial successes with Empuraan, and with the global gross collections of Malayalam film RS 265 Crore, which has the highest revenue of all time. Mohanlal also scored the third highest revenue Malayalam this year with Thudarum, which has 235 RS Crore in the world.

Dulquer Salmaan, which is very appreciated with its striking visuals, strong music, strong performances and bright aspect, is on the way to enter the 200 Crore sign globally. Empuraan will be the fourth Malayalam film to obtain this milestone after Manjummel Boys and Thudarum.

Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra also plays the important roles of Naslen, Sandy, Arun Kurian, Chandu Salimkumar, Nishanth Sagar, Raghunath Pali, Nithya Shri, Vijayaraghavan and Sarath Sabha.
