Keir Starmer faces backlash over hundreds arrested in support of Palestine Action
Keir Starmer faces an angry response to the arrest of hundreds of people during the protest on the Palestinian action on Saturday after it turned out that more than half of the people are over 60.
The Prime Minister was warned by his senior Backbencher Diane Abbott that the government was in danger of showing him “both cruel and stupid”.
And former Labor Cabini Minister Peter Hain described the mass arrests as “madness, because I said that the Palestinian action was“ against the law of real terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda or the Islamic State ”.
In the early hours of the day, a government minister warned that supporters “feel the full power of the law”.
On Sunday, the Metropolitan Police Force confirmed that 532 arrests were made because it exhibited an item that supports a banned organization of 522.
