Heritage fashion brand Belstaff bought by British sportswear group Castore | Ineos

Belstaff, a British fashion brand, known for her inheritance motorcycle equipment, was purchased by Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineo of Sports Clothing Group Castore.

In accordance with the unnamed agreement, Ineos Castore will make an “important strategic investment” at the holding company.

In 2017, Belstaff has reported losses every year since Ratcliffe was acquired by the Empire of Oil and Chemicals, and the latest accounts have lost before the tax until December 2023.

Belstaff was founded in 1924 in Stockfordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and is known for its waxed jackets once introduced by Kate Moss and David Beckham. In 2017, Ineos was purchased from Jab Holding, a British coffee shop chain Pret A Fishing owner and previously owned by Jimmy Choo, previously luxury shoe brand.

According to this year’s Sunday Times Rich list, Ratcliffe, which has a net £ 17 billion, became one of the richest men in England after the Belgian oil refinery built a chemical empire of 84 million £ 84 million.

Tom Beahon, the founding partner and general manager of Castore, including British tennis player Andy Murray, said that Belstaff has returned to the business profit -free business profit in 2023.
