Labour MP says Starmer’s decision to sack Olly Robbins was a mistake | News

A Labor MP refused to be asked whether he trusted the prime minister, saying there was “certainly a question about the future of the Labor Party”.
Dan Carden, who represents Liverpool Walton, told BBC’s Newsnight he believed he would lead Labor in the local election but added “it looks like we’re going from crisis to crisis at the moment”.
Sir Keir Starmer is under increasing pressure from his own MPs over his handling of the scandal surrounding the appointment of Lord Peter Mandelson as US ambassador.
He added that he believed Sir Keir’s decision to sack Sir Olly Robbins was a “mistake”.
