Like mother, like daughter! Sophie and Lady Louise make a stylish duo as they join Prince Edward at day two of the Royal Windsor Horse show

The Duchess of Edinburgh and her daughter Lady Louise Windsor proved they are a stylish duo as they attended the second day of the Royal Windsor Horse show today.
Sophie, 61, serves as Vice-President of the annual show and this week watched with pride as talented international athletes competed in the grounds of Windsor Castle ahead of King Charles’ attendance.
Looking effortlessly elegant, the royal paired her tweed jacket with blue textured trousers and white trousers. blouse On this occasion, her daughter looked stylish in a patterned dress overalls and a checkered skirt paired with a gray coat.
Braving the cool spring weather and very wet conditions, Sophie, who was accompanied by her husband Prince Edward, was briefly caught wearing a stylish, waterproof windbreaker over her jacket.
It comes after Lady Louise, 22, who is studying English at St Andrew’s University, accepted a ‘paid job’ at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, with officials praising the ‘hard-working’ royal as a ‘real asset’ to the team.
The humble royal is operating the ‘first ever concierge service’, according to event manager Nick Brooks-Ward.
He told Vanity Fair: ‘Lady Louise is one of the chief organisers, essentially running the first concierge service. A great worker and a true asset to the team with no pomp or grace. This is a decent paying job and there is no special treatment because of who he is.’
As well as helping out behind the scenes, Lady Louise will also be competing in the carriage riding event later this week.

At one stage the Duchess appeared to make a brief blunder as she burned her mouth with a hot drink.
The royal was taught to drive as a young girl by her grandfather, the late Prince Philip, and the pair are said to have bonded over their shared love of the sport.
The late Duke of Edinburgh counted this activity as one of his favorite pastimes. In the 1970s Philip raced horse carriages near Norfolk before representing England in various world and European championships.
To remember her grandfather, Lady Louise drove during an emotional parade at the ‘Gallop Through History’ finale during Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in May 2022.
Lady Louise now frequently participates in equestrian competitions and rides her beloved grandfather’s ponies as a way of keeping his memory alive.
On the last day of the event you will attend the British Driving Community Meeting; Edward and Sophie are also expected to attend in their roles as president and vice president of the show.
Mr Brooks-Ward said the Duke and Duchess ‘spent a lot of time on the show’, which has become a beloved tradition of the Royal Family.

Last November, it was reported that Lady Louise had ‘fallen in love’ with army cadets alongside her university degree at St Andrews, just as her father had done a generation earlier.
A source told The Sun: ‘He talks about being very keen on a career in the army and serving King and country. He’s all about the Army Cadets and has fallen in love with it.’
If the royal, who kept a low profile during his university years, goes the military route, his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. She will be the first royal woman to do so since Elizabeth II.
Commenting on their similar nature, royal biographer Ingrid Seward previously told the Daily Mail: ‘There are shades of young Elizabeth. There’s something about it; a talent. ‘She’s obviously a very kind young woman.’
